Invisible mode in G-talk (Google Talk)

Have you ever wished if you can chat invisibly through G-talk like you do in Yahoo messenger, here is a news, now you can chat invisibly in Google talk as well. As Invisible mode is not there in Gtalk, but if you wish to chat in Invisible mode, follow these instruction:
1) Sign out from G-Talk, as you can not go invisible if you are using window based G-Talk.
2) log in to you Gmail account, and choose invisible mode from the chat window on the left. You can find invisible option from the list where you change your status message.

You will be online but invisible, alway switch back to online using the same option.

Remember not to sign in to G-talk messenger window, as invisibly mode is not yet supported by Google Talk messenger. And yeah you don't need to upgrade anything to use this feature, this will reflect in you Gmail inbox.

    Hi
    First make sure you are using Newer version of Gmail, check links before Sing Out, once you switch to newer version, you should see the go invisible option in the Drop box in Gmail

    It works grt!
    People get gmail version 2.
    u can download it form google itself. Havent tried it on IE. It works on Mozilla firefox for now.

    Hi guy, The Gmail Invisible work on only Internet explore 7, older version doesn't support that feature

    to update to new version, login in to Gmail on right top corner you will see a link new versions.

    it does support most of the browser, I have tried it in Chrome as well

    @Veeru its not available for Gtalk messenger yet, as I mentioned you can go invisible only via messenger integrated in Gmail.

    There is a difference between goole talk and gmail chat. It can be done in mail chat but not google talk!

    use mozzila or google chrome or latest version of ie... you will find the invisible option.. in ie6 theire is no optin of invisible mode..
